I'm used to soft cases, so I wondered what a hard case would be like, but I chose a matte color and it feels good to the touch. I'm a little worried about scratches here because there's almost no wrap around the top and bottom, just the two side fasteners, but that's probably a feature of hard cases, so I'm happy with it.
